Who This God Anubis The Gatekeeper Of The Great Beyond
ANUBIS is one of the most big GODS of the EGYPTIAN PANTHEON and the Firstly God of the Criminal world until Chief Settle. His name is the GREEK design of what Egyptians within walking distance as ANAPA or ANPU. The etymology of the word Anubis is under break. One proposition that it derives from "Ceremonial Youngster, Decay "or even" Puppy".According to the OGDOAD System, ANUBIS is the son of RA, the source. Anubis at this time is deliberate the far-reaching head of clan of the Criminal world. In forward-looking scripts Anubis, the Jackal-head God is the son of NEPHTHYS Goddess of Domestic and Home-produced Associations and SET (Seth) God of the Deserts and Slowness. According to several other myths which are the most strong Anubis is the real son of OSIRIS the Balloon Ruler of the Criminal world. These myths instruct that Anubis mother NEPHTHYS, anonymously as ISIS seduced Set's brother, Osiris now making love and this is how Anubis was conceived. Anubis is wedded to the Goddess ANPUT, invoked as the "Mother of Waiflike "and the "Aristocrat of Supernatural" and has a child the perplexing Goddess KEBECHET, she who purifies and revitalizes the WATERS. We donate get back to these Goddesses in a far along posts.Anubis in any design of the story bamboozle the Caretaker AND Absolute OF THE Criminal world. In ancient Egyptian invocations Anubis is invoked as the Warden OF THE Keep back (of the afterlife). Egyptians pray to Anubis in order to help and round the Self-confidence of the Losses prized ones and alike to Gain THE Given up for lost SOULS TO Cause THEIR WAY IN AFTERLIFE and be guided by his See the future Order. Anubis is said to help even the ones who were precedent and not lower-level highly. The Frustrate (WEIGHTER) OF THE HEARTS, Anubis, is the number one God called to bless FUNERALS as he is the one who stands formerly the See the future Stall, meaning the deal with of Embalming. He is alike the one in lever essential whether a go is spontaneous or not. In a story, since Osiris was murdered, Anubis was the one who embalmed his mass with the help of Nephthys and Isis. Anubis is as a rule depicted as a black JACKAL or JACKAL-HEADED MAN. Black symbolized the Failure and Renaissance for the Cloudy Egyptians. It is alike deliberate terribly unpretentious that ancient Egyptians adopted what's more Dogs (on top BLACK DOGS) and Jackals as the symbols of Anubis. Following all Anubis rules the Dog-star. Jackals and Dogs were alike conquer psychopomb nature, in other words they were deliberate guardians and escorts of the Losses. In forward-looking Hellenistic and Ptolemaic lifetime the wealth of the Fashion of Anubis was called Cynopolis, the civil of Dogs.Option aspect of Anubis comes from what Egyptians called him "Opener of Relations". Anubis is expected to unblock our path and relax blocks in our way. Anubis is alike called as the "One who Stands upon the Bunch" meaning that he observes all and guards. Anubis is likably invoked to aid in Oracles. This is doubtless having the status of of his forward-looking association with the Greek God Hermes (Mercury in Latin), but doubtless it derives from the fact the he observes all. Priests of Anubis is expected to wear Jackal Masks in order to middling the armed of Anubis, as several tribes do in order to middling the armed of each totem animal or God / Goddess or other armed. The Magick Of Padlocks

fighting as they emanate from padlock
Padlocks are lock devices invented in ancient Rome in third century, but some consider they've existed in simpler forms in ancient Egypt as well. However The padlock, as we know it today, with the lock body, shackle and key had been, as said above, made ( created, composed ) in third century, and quickly gained popularity and spread beyond the great Roman empire. It was due to it being useful, practical and portable, more so in times when personal property was not as protected ( by law ) as today is. The origin of the word "padlock" may be traced into old English : "padlock", even though the meaning of the prefix "pad" remains unclear. In Germanic and Scandinavian country, the words used to described padlock, literarily translate to "hanging lock" or "hang lock". Possibly their simple use and effectiveness were not the only things that made people like them. It is considered that in China they were initially used by emperor and wealthy people, as a sort of power/status symbol. Wooden beams were used before padlocks to protect property in china and were doing a good job. Padlocks were ( and are still ) mostly made of metal, so it could have been that this had added, at least spiritually, to their "protective" power.
In psychology, lock, and consequently padlocks, bare many symbolic meanings, as they do in folklore and myths as well. Well I'd say what Freud though keyhole or padlock and key represent, but I try to keep this blog pg rated lol. It's worth mentioning ( for those unfamiliar with the fact ) that Freud's analogies and symbolism were almost always sexually related. Besides, symbols are not defined with how some humans perceive them, but with what they represent. Therofore, locks and padlocks are usually indicative of something that is suppressed, locked, repressed or dissociated in the unconscious or elsewhere, while keys are symbols or solution to the riddle, resolving of the problem and alike. Same applies to padlock and keys in dream analysis, and here is an example on how the locks dreams are interpreted by one online dream interpretation source:
"Dreaming of a lock represents that you cannot get what you desire. If you are locked out of something, first relate what you are looked out of to your life. Maybe you are concealing parts of yourself. You feel confused and locked out of society.
If the lock is shut around your wrist, even though it is by accident, in reality it denotes feelings of uncertainty about expressing your feelings. You probably feel like you cannot trust people with them, you may be right. However, it is a risk you should take if you want to be understood and accepted."
We should note, here, that the concept of lock and padlock is hardly ever separated in mundane speech or discussion, which is fine, because symbolically and in terms of esotery and occult, the two might be seen as almost the same. That simply means, that You'll have to try harder to find an entry: "padlock" in dream dicitionries, but even when You do it will say pretty much the same as under "lock" or will simply say "look under lock" lol
Unfortunately, in occultism, padlocks are rarely ( if at all, in a proper manner ) dealt with at all, more entries on them we find in folk magick and folklore. Seems like indeed, over the years some magick related information and secrets get lost. Where I live ( Eastern Europe ), is however common to find some of the "oldest" magickal secrets preserved intact, in their raw and "undistilled" form, which is so simply due to lack of urbanization in remote ( usually mountain ) areas, where people still have much closer bond to nature and heritage of their ancestors, than most of us ( city people lol ) do. Interesting, in Taiwan they are considered to be sort of luck generators, when affixed to the train station overpass. It is believed that the trains magnetic force shall empower them and make wishes come true. Make sense, if we look at occult belief that magnetic field ( such as TV's electromagnetic field ) help wishes come true. Hence, the same is with padlocks. Researching European, and American folklore, as well as drawing from ( little ) written and ( rich ) oral tradition of Balkan peninsula cunning folk, has given me some, good information of properties and uses of padlocks in occult and magick, and here is what I've encountered:
. Padlocks represent oppressive, constricting and protective force and impediment
. Padlocks can be seen as "double headed", as they can cross, or bind, and uncross or unbind, see examples latter in text. This is particularly true in Balkan peninsula folk magick
. Padlocks can be used in love magick, which gains popularity in certain urban areas of the world. This may be so because padlock can be symbolic of an unbroken, firm, steady bond.
. Padlock s like locks can be opened magickally using various plants, seals and or other techniques
PADLOCKS AND CROSSING
Padlocks can be used to cross indeed. The very simple symbolism obviously played an important role here. Padlocks restrict, bind, lock, they can do same when cunningly employed to someone's energy, will power, joje de vivere, allegedly even spirit. Certain sprit traps contained a padlock, as part of them. I witnessed a folk ritual that used a poppet over which ( or around which ) a padlock was closed and then they were thrown together in a river, and so symbolically sacrificed, or given, tied and helpless to watery spirit called Tartor, a nasty chthonic entity, invoked in Balkan peninsula folk magick. Somewhat less sever example, is what they call here "erotic black magick" where the personal concern of desired person is collected and "locked in padlock" along with casters. This when properly done, violently binds two persons together, sometimes literarily unless one of the parties in question dies. Similarly, a men's personal concerns ( mostly seminal fluid ) can be collected on with a piece of cotton or old cloth, which is then ritually ( while speaking and incantation ) "locked" with padlock to make men infertile or dysfunctional in a specific sense, ehm...lol
LOVE LOCKING WITH PADLOCKS
As I have mentioned before, padlocks can be used for love magick, and even what is considered love manipulation and binding, taking away sexual virility and so on. As of more-less recently, people from all around Europe have been practicing a strange ritual with padlocks. It seems to be a part of urban culure now, for a couple to write their names together, on a padlock and hung it on a bridge's fence or even a tree in some cases. This was allegedly supposed to ensure the stability and endurance of the relationship, and was even more powerful if done of ( let's call them such ) cultic or legendary places, such as certain Bridges. In Paris for example, there is "Ponte des arts", or "Ponte Vecchio" in Florence ( Italy, it had 5500 padlocks attached to it, now removed :O ) or "Most ljubavi" ( in town Vrnjacka Banja ) in Serbia, Ponte Milvio in Rome ( Italy again, this one inspired by romantic novel ) etc. Usually these places have some sort of legend, or myth about the fierce love between two Young people, associated with them.
Whether such practice is effective or not, You tell me, You've probably encountered it somewhere near You. It can be illegal and damaging to the architecture, therefore people might consider that as well.
PADLOCK UNCROSSING RITUAL
Now the following is an example of a ritual used to remove an evil spell, as used in Eastern Europe. It is however very possible that the such use of padlock and key is ( or was, or had been ) more cosmopolite, however in such form, it has survived where I live, and in some neighboring mainland and Mediterranean European countries
It requires 6 black candles, and incense ( here was often either or a mixture of: Frankincense, Sage, Nettle, Blackberry leafs, Basil and other ), a sponge or old cloth, ( or piece of fabric ), needles or pins, and a padlock with a key. In older days, they used candles covered with tar and or chimney sooth, which made the candles smell really nasty when burnt, and the odor created was considered to be a demonifuge of a kind. Padlock has sympathetic role in the ritual in the way. For closed padlock may represent ( or even be used to ) restrained will power, luck, binding, captivity etc. Ritually unlocking a padlock was symbolic of breaking bonds, much like piece of broken chain in Your Uncrossing Condition oil. It was also symbolic of "taking control" over the messes and fusses in Your life, and bringing it to desired state once again, for which key of the padlock is used. The sponge or clothe is a form of image magick and it represents the very evil that oppresses one, bad luck, enemies, evil magick, evil spirits sent, evil energy, You name it. Warmed needles are stick into it during one phase of the ritual, thus symbolically overpowering, defeating and destroying evil. Let's take a look at ritual broken down to steps :
. Light six black candles and as You do meditate on Your strength to overpower evil and injustice
. Light the incense
. Inhale the incense smoke few times, than open/ unlock the ( locked ) padlock above the candles saying something along the lines: "This padlock I open, over my condition/situation / destiny power to gain". This can be done few times. Then leave the unlocked padlock on the left, and the key on the right side of the candles.
. Heat the needles or pins on candle flame and while hot, stick them in the sponge saying something along the lines: "Sponge I puncture, evil to rupture" Some people would repeat the procedure with a single needle, some would use more than one, others may use more than one and repeat the pining with each. This seems to have been left for intuitive insight of the practitioner to determine
. When finished, take sponge and one of the two candles placed in the middle ( candles were usually place d in a row, one next to another, forming a line of a sort ), and go where there is some river or stream ( moving, flowing body of water ) light the sponge on a candles flame and throw it as swiftly as You can into a body of the water saying something along the lines: "Evil I have pinned, into neverland"* "I've sent, Evil I have burned, forever destroyed, evil I've send down the water, forever of it I'm released!"** Take the candle with You, and come back home
. Return the candle to it's proprietary place among other candles, and then extinguish them candles by blowing them out, one by one, realizing that as You do so, You are destroying the power that the evil spell has over Your life.
. Collect the extinguished candle and any remaining wax, or material, pack them in a paper bag and carry and toss down the body of moving water.
Now the local etnographist
that recorder the ritual adds what seems to be a modern addition to the ritual, more so If we take in consideration that in many remote parts of Balkan peninsula, colored candles where pretty much unattainable, all up to very recently. Furthermore, as younger I was taught the variation of the ritual, and it did not include the following:
. Light one green, one purple and one red candle
. Take the padlock in Your left hand, and the key in Your right then lock and unlock the padlock 9 times as You speak something along the lines: "Padlock I hold, future/destiny to control, this Key I hold, eternal luck to gain an' withhold !"
. Place the Key and padlock a in a box separated on two compartments, ideally equal ones. The box was best to be wooden, or metal. It is hidden from plain sight, and can be opened should the need for extra power and luck arise, regarding some serious issue or condition
Many Blessings, Shadow !

It's a nasty place where all sort of evil became trapped to fight among themselves and eventually fade away. It is described as a place "with no echo, where rosters never sound themselves, dogs never bark, birds never sing etc..." **While for this very ritual there is no specific incantation, instead generic banishment incantations are used, they take form as they usually do in Balkan peninsula folk magick, they use simple, often corrupted language, and are formed so to rhyme in a very simple manner, much like modern rapping, in a way. I have done my best to translate them to English here so that they still retain their natural syllable melodies and rhythm, and to be analogous to the original version Note how method of disposal are similar to those of traditional Hoodoo and Conjure, it's just unclear to me ( and always had been ) why is sponge tossed separately from the rest, and prior to the candles. When I asked cunning folk lady that taught me the ritual she simply replied :" like everything in nature there is an order in which things are done "
and Ethnograpist, anthropologist and journalist Jasna Jojic Pavlovski, had recorded this ritual, and has posted it in her magazine "Lek I amajlija, za srecu I ljubav" ( literarily Cure and amulet, for luck and love" ) and has added the part with three colored candles, that I was not aware of. Are We Secular Fundamentalists
In the first few pages, I encountered the term "secular fundamentalists" in the context of right wing Christian conservatives. The author used this phrase to describe people who want to keep religion out of politics and public life. The author feels strongly that faith has a central place in both politics and public life and that both extremes (i.e., Christian fundamentalists and "secular fundamentalists") are problematic.
I argue here that the term "secular fundamentalist" is a meaningless distortion. Fortunately, we have a widely accepted definition of religious fundamentalism from which to start our comparison. As researched for a previous post, religious fundamentalism includes the following components:
1. Biblical Inerrancy
2. Evangelism
3. Premillenialism (expectation of second coming, rapture, etc.)
4. Separatism/Sense of Persecution
5. Biblical Literalism (at least with regard to creation)
Note: The research through which I arrived at these 5 components included mostly Christian sources.
Are there analogues for any of these components in the secular community (so far as there even is a secular community)? There is no core secular doctrine, so #1 and #5 have no bearing. I also see no analogue for #3. We are focused on this life because we recognize that it is the only life we have. The closest thing we might have to #2 are efforts by some atheists to combat the negative image of atheists held by much of the public. Certainly there are those among us who seek to foster the spread of atheism, but we are not really trying to spread a doctrine as much as we are encouraging people to embrace reality and give up superstition. I do see an analogue to #4, but our sense of separation/persecution is based in modern reality. We are a hated minority; this is not a point of controversy. Some of us also foster this sense of separation by continuing to mount an assault on the religion.
The closest label I can identify to what might be called "secular fundamentalist" would be something like "atheist activist." By this I mean an atheist who takes an activist stance about his/her atheism. Yes, I would put myself in this category. However, I don't see the necessary components of fundamentalism in this label.

Reinforcing The Fairy Tale
"(AVAILABLE AS A ) "
Christians often complain that if we unbelievers don't believe in god, then we should be quiet about it. "Why argue against god so much, if you don't believe in him?," they'll quip. They are suggesting that maybe, on some Freudian level, we really DO believe, and that is why we debate and argue. (I'll deal with this bit of sophistry later.)
Not only is this absolute nonsense, but I can prove that the exact opposite is true. And that opposite truth is that Christians are afraid to shut up about god precisely because they DON'T believe in him and they must constantly reinforce their beliefs lest they become atheists.
Think about it.
Why do Christians read their bibles daily or weekly? Don't they already know what it says? (Probably not.)
Why do they obediently swarm to church services each week, sometimes three times a week, to hear the Word of God as preached by some stranger? Again, don't they already know what His Word says?
Why must Christians labor all day in prayer, praise and worship, calling on His name? Does God truly need all this sycophantic toadying to stroke his ego?
And finally, why do Christians believe something "bad" will happen to them if they fail to accomplish the preceding fetishes? Wrath of god? Demonic attack? Sickness and poverty? What will happen if the good luck charm is ignored?
Christians (and other theists for that matter) remind me of the Cowardly Lion in The Wizard of Oz. While walking through the enchanted forest the Lion is panic stricken. He has just witnessed his colleague the Tin Man be punished for NOT believing in ghosts. So the Cowardly Lion rubs his tail, squeezes his eyes shut and begins to chant, "I do believe in ghosts. I do believe in ghosts. I do, I do, I do, I do, I DO! believe in ghosts!" He says this in an effort to placate the angry spirits, figuring that if he confirms his FAITH they won't punish him for his doubts and lack of reverence.
Sound familiar?
Christians are constantly bombarded by their leaders that they MUST "continue in the faith" and "abide in Christ" lest they "fall away." In other words, if they don't stick with the brainwashing program, the spell will wear off AND something "bad" will happen to them. That "bad" thing is called APOSTASY. Falling away.
But what, then, does that say about faith? About your so-called strong belief in god?
As an atheist I don't need to remind myself that there is no god. (I just get a kick out of telling OTHER people, just to watch them squirm and recoil in fear!) My atheism needs no reinforcing. It's a fait accompli. If I don't bother with any of it, then I WON'T believe.
And THAT is just the point that the preacher makes when he warns people to "abide in Christ." People who don't think about God, people who don't read their bibles, people who don't seek fellowship, people who don't pray, people who don't worship, people who don't have their faith under-girded and have their spiritual batteries recharged WILL become unbelievers! They will recognize that this God fetish isn't necessary for their lives. God will fade into non-existence, relegated to the shadows of mythology, along with Zeus and Hercules, where they all belong.
So each week these Christians run around clutching their bibles and crosses, with their eyes shut tight, heads bowed, hands lifted to heaven, chanting to themselves, "I do believe in god, I do believe in god, I do, I do, I do, I do, I DO believe in GOD!" Failure to do so is to risk unbelief and even retribution from this spiritual terrorist.
And then they have the nerve to question why WE unbelievers talk about god "so much"?
It is to laugh. If a Christian's belief is SO strong, then why the panic to be constantly reminded that their God is real? Why can't they simply let it go? Just believe and get on with their lives. Why must Christians constantly pray, preach, and worship? What are they afraid of? Is "God" that much of a tyrant and egomaniac that he must be acknowledged in all things, and at all times, lest he be angered and smite you? (The answer is "yes", BTW. I've read the bible. I've heard the sermons. "God" gets angry if you don't lick his feet.)
Or could it be that YOU must constantly fool yourself into believing something that is an obvious lie?
Again, the answer is a resounding "yes". Failure to reinforce the fairy tale is to risk apostasy and atheism. A fate "worse than death" for the gullible sheep of god.
Once again, I'm SO glad I managed to escape that insane asylum called Religion. What a sorry way to live.
Finally, I'd like to address the opening barb that got me to thinking about all of this. To wit: "Why do we unbelievers talk about god if we don't believe in him?"
I can think of two good reasons. (There may be more, but these are the best.)
One, if we remained silent, then you theists would claim that we didn't exist. By our silence you would be able to make the case that non-believers either are a myth, or that we are a statistical anomaly, OR that our polite silence is our tacit admission that we don't have a problem with god. We complain "so much" to make our voices heard. We're NOT arguing against "god", but against god-believers and their delusions. To remain silent is to yield the field of battle to our opponents. To remain silent is a tacit admission that we have no argument in the theater of ideas, and therefore we concede defeat to the theists. And I, for one, refuse to give them so easy a victory.
And Two, we speak and write against god-belief to provide hope for those people struggling alone with their unbelief. The life of an unbeliever is lonely and sometimes dangerous. We find ourselves awash in a sea of religious nitwits. People who consider US "deluded" because we refuse to blindly believe in their delusion. (Can you say "ironic"?) Often times we unbelievers think that we are the Last Sane Person on the planet, and we sink into despair and loneliness. That is until we find an internet web site filled with like-minded unbelievers who have the same problems with religion. We read articles and books that confirm what we've always believed was wrong with religion, and we take comfort in this. Now we know that we aren't alone. Now we know that there is nothing "wrong" with us. Others are on this journey with us.
And THAT is why we "complain so much" about god. We have an obligation, both private and public, to articulate our unbelief. We dare not remain silent. We have a duty to put the religious world on notice - "Here there be unbelievers!"
Understand something. Religious people will ALWAYS try to intimidate or trick the unbeliever into maintaining a revered and "respectful" silence about his/her unbelief. It is so much easier to spread and foster the religious lie if there is NO ONE to speak out against it. If no one says, "Hey! The Emperor hasn't got on any clothes!," then everyone will just keep pretending and lying to themselves and each other. The make believe will NEVER end. And THAT is why we speak.
So get used to it, Christians. We aren't shutting up and we aren't going away. Contrary to the now trendy, comedic barb, you are NOT the Borg(R) and resistance is NOT useless. The more we talk about this, the more it will become self-evident that god-belief is delusional. And then one day religious people will become too embarrassed to speak of their shameful and silly beliefs in mixed company. Finally, they'll keep such strange beliefs to themselves, like one politely withholds a fart until they're alone.
And the more we speak against religion today, the sooner that happy day of tomorrow will arrive.

Essence Of The Black Jaguar
A black panther is not a leopard. A black panther belongs to the jaguar () milieu, hard by in the suggest of the book which returned me to Torah - The Quark and the Jaguar (by Murray Gell-Mann). A black panther is hard by a uncouth rose in the midst of spotted jaguars and roses of copious other colors. From "Answers.com" about jaguars:The confirmation tint of the jaguar is on a national scale a orange yellow, but can lay out to red and black. The cat is implied in rosettes for mask in its complication homewards. The a skin condition alter all over again apparent coats and involving apparent Jaguars: rosettes may imply one or assorted dots, and the healthiness of the dots varies. The a skin condition on the go ahead and neck are on a national scale rigorous, as are those on the tail, where they may join together to form a band. The underbelly, throat and outer walls stop of the legs and cut flanks are white.A condition known as melanism occurs in the type. The melanistic form is less humble than the spotted form - six percent of jaguars in their South American lay out seize been reported to concede it- and is the shrewdness of a authoritarian allele. Jaguars with melanism stature entirely black, nevertheless their a skin condition are unhurried clear on close up investigation. Melanistic Jaguars are in private known as black panthers, but do not form a free type. Unprepared albino populace, sometimes called white panthers, approve in the midst of jaguars, as with the other big cats.Melanism is a "dark flower head of the sleeve, hair, fur, or bring down what of a high vigor of melanin."Melanin - transliterated inside Hebrew answer "full to extract with grandsons". clearly answer "having everything", "having full review" and "conferring dominance" . In view of that, upon my grandsons I sermon "all" dominance and bless them with "everything" absolutely and entirely, as were each of the patriarchs blessed with () "all" .Equally distinguishes a black jaguar from a spotted leopard-like one is both the "adjustment of it's rosettes" inside its flourishing tint dark of color at the genetic level and it's vigor "full to extract with grandsons".This roughly speaking the personification of the black jaguar, epitomizing the strong feminine personification, is true for me - the black tint bringing down and integrating understanding and knowledge (rosettes of binah and da'at) inside my own peculiar tradition in malchut, and it's essential nothing out of the ordinary vigor bringing out the fact that I am a grandmother blessed with 5 grandsons. Kabbalistically, the "grandson" of binah is rectified malchut. I seize 5 grandsons in real life - Tyler, Cameron, Devin, Logan and Trentin.Blessings brought down in all universes - Adam kadmon, atzilut, beriyah, yetzirah and assiyah.Assuredly, the personification of the black jaguar is get. Is Dungeons And Dragons Witchcraft
A popular concept rose up in the late 80's that Dungeons and Dragons (D&D) was used to recruit unaware youth into the occult. This idea was propagated by many Christian organizations. I can particularly remember the song "A Witch's Invitation" by Christian musical artist Carmen and he explored this concept.
Dungeons and Dragons is what is known as a role playing game and is very technical. There are no spells, curses, hexes or rituals involved in any of its text books. Basically, the books outline the physics, artificial history and cultures of a fantasy world.
There are two main reasons that many Christians believe that D&D is "Satanic" and thus leads to witchcraft, neither of which hold any factual truth. First, they associate Dragons with a representation of Lucifer as he is sometimes depicted as the beast or a great dragon in biblical scripture. Wiccans do not believe in Satan and Dragons have existed in the myths and legends of many cultures including those that predate the Judeo-Christian belief system. Secondly, a player can choose to become a Wizard in the game and use magic. Real world Wizards, or Magicians, do not associate themselves or their magic with the worship of divinity.
It is however true that people who are interested in a spiritual path involving magic are inclined to be drawn to play games like D&D because the fantasy aspects of using magic is something they feel drawn to. But saying that all people that play D&D are drawn to witchcraft is like saying people that watch movies about serial killers are drawn to being serial killers themselves.
The biggest threat that comes from playing a game like Dungeons and Dragons is that it opens the player's imagination to think outside the box, be creative and imaginative. The game is very logical when played within the "physical limitations" of the imaginary world. So in a way, it teaches people to begin to think for themselves and become more rational, so old arguments involving spirituality that do not hold their foundations under scrutiny become vulnerable to loss of belief.
As far as D&D being used as a recruitment tool by witches and pagans, this is absolutely untrue. Most pagans believe that each person is here to learn their own life lessons and to choose their own paths. Conversion is not in our belief system. We, pagans, only want the freedom to practice our beliefs without outside interference.
I do recommend that if someone is really interested in learning to use magic to play any role playing game (not pc games) to train their visualization skills.

Religion Belief Guest Post My Christian Friend Positive Testimony
I recently sent out a call for uplifting stories because my blog tends to be negative with story after story of miscreants and child abusers. Yet in my personal life, many of the people I know are wonderful examples of tolerance, love and service - and most of these people happen to be Christians. It's time I passed on a few good stories. I consider them a balance of sorts against my endless hypocrisy watch posts. If you would like to submit a guest post, please see the guides.
This guest post is by a real world friend named Brad Hightower. He writes the blog 21st Century Reformation.
By Brad Hightower
Let me begin by saying that Joe is a good friend of mine. I admire his capacity to have a solidly evangelical friend like myself. He is truly a great friend, but this post is about another friend of mine, Dan. I was going to write a post that covered three of my best friends but I realize that in the world of blogging most folk do not have the time to read a lengthy post, so I decided to limit this to one friend instead of three.
I met Dan in 1999. He is the pastor of a local church in Bellflower, CA. Nineteen years ago he came to Bellflower from Michigan for a job interview at our church. He said to the council, "if you want someone to cater to the current culture of the church. You are looking at the wrong man. My vision is to build a multi-ethnic church that displays in a tangible way God's love for all people and be a symbol in this city of community in the midst of diversity." Nineteen years later, Dan has made good on his promise.
If you know anything about organizations, resisting the status quo and attempting to implement change on principle without regard to politics is a difficult and courageous act. Men and women who take this path are heroes. These people are those who suffer real loses and endure real hardship and real heartache for the sake of their principles. In light of recent American history, building bridges between cultures and amongst diverse people is the great task of our generation. Men and women like Dan developed vision for this work to build beautiful community in their youth in the 1970's, and some, like Dan, had the wisdom, patience, and conviction to bring their vision to fruition.
I would not betray Dan's friendship, but I know he has shed countless tears as his passions and convictions have been misunderstood through the years. Being an agent of change is lonely work, but it is worth the difficult times in light of the internal witness that you are on the right side of history. Just last year,I remember at an all nations service representatives from over 20 nations from the congregation stood up on stage and spoke a word of blessing over the congregation in their native tongue.
Personally, my friend Dan has been a source of comfort for me in some of my deepest trials. He has believed in me when it seems like only my wife and my very closest friends stood by me. Even greater, my friend has let me encourage him and stand by him in his times of need. Though in many ways, Dan is my superior, he has humbled himself and been a peer to me and shared the journey, as a friend.
I am not saying that only Christians can be friends like Dan is to me or that only Christians labor to make the world a better place, but throughout the world many, many Christians labor to build beautiful communities and those of us who participate in these communities find ourselves deeply indebted to the witness to 'all that is good' that these communities communicate to ourselves and our families. All of us, likewise, owe a debt of gratitude to the men and women that labor to build the institutional church in order that this witness will abide for future generations.

Wiccan Ritual Robe
It's not uncommon to have robes for the different seasons, symbolizing the turning Wheel of the Year. You can make one in blue for spring, green for summer, brown for fall, and white for winter -- or any other colors that symbolize the seasons for you. Do take the time to put some thought into your color selection -- it used to be that most Wiccans wore white robes, but many people prefer to use earth tones, because it's a way of establishing one's connection with nature. Some people choose to avoid black, because it sometimes has negative connotations, but use the color that feels right for you.
To make a basic robe, you can follow these simple steps. You'll need the following:
* A piece of material in the color of your choice -- make sure you select something that will be easy to sew and comfortable to wear. On the average, you'll need about three yards, but if you're heavyset or extra-tall, add in some more. A flat bedsheet is actually the perfect size for this.
* Scissors, thread, tailor's chalk, and a measuring tape.
* A sewing machine.
* A length of cord or light rope, approximately 6 feet long.
You'll need some help for this first step, because you need to measure yourself from wrist to wrist with your arms outstretched. Unless you have a third arm, get a friend to do this for you. This measurement will be Measurement A. Next, figure the distance from the nape of your neck to a point even with your ankle -- this will be Measurement B. Fold the fabric in half (if the material has a print on it, fold it with the pattern side in). Using your A and B measurements, cut out along the lines indicated in Figure 1, making a sort-of T-shape. Don't cut out along the top fold -- that's the part that will go along the top of the arms and shoulders.
Next, cut a hole for your head (X) at the center of Measurement A. Don't make it too big, or your robe will slide off your shoulders! On each side, sew along the underside of the sleeve, leaving an opening at Y for the arms (Figure 2). Then sew from the armpit down to the bottom of the robe. Turn your robe right-side out, try it on, and adjust it for length if needed.
Finally, add a cord around the waist, as shown in Figure 3. In some traditions the cord may be knotted to indicate degrees of training or education. In others, it acts simply as a belt to keep the robe from flapping around during ritual. You can also add trim, beadwork, or magical symbols to your robe. Personalize it, and make it yours. You may also wish to consecrate your robe before wearing it for the first time.

Battling Demons Witchcraft Heresy And Reform In The Late Middle Ages By Michael D Bailey
"THE FIFTEENTH CENTURY IS MORE THAN ANY OTHER THE CENTURY OF THE PERSECUTION OF WITCHES." SO WROTE JOHAN HUIZINGA MORE THAN EIGHTY YEARS AGO IN HIS CLASSIC AUTUMN OF THE MIDDLE AGES. ALTHOUGH HUIZINGA WAS CORRECT IN HIS OBSERVATION, MODERN READERS HAVE TENDED TO FOCUS ON THE MORE SPECTACULAR WITCH-HUNTS OF THE SIXTEENTH AND SEVENTEENTH CENTURIES. NEVERTHELESS, IT WAS DURING THE LATE MIDDLE AGES THAT THE FULL STEREOTYPE OF DEMONIC WITCHCRAFT DEVELOPED IN EUROPE, AND THIS IS THE SUBJECT OF BATTLING DEMONS. "AT THE HEART OF THE STORY IS JOHANNES NIDER (D. 1438), A DOMINICAN THEOLOGIAN AND REFORMER WHO ALTERNATELY PERSECUTED HERETICS AND NEGOTIATED WITH THEM--A MAN WHO WAS BY FAR THE MOST IMPORTANT CHURCH AUTHORITY TO WRITE ON WITCHCRAFT IN THE EARLY FIFTEENTH CENTURY. NIDER WAS A MAJOR SOURCE FOR THE INFAMOUS MALLEUS MALEFICARUM, OR HAMMER OF WITCHES (1486), THE MANUAL OF CHOICE FOR WITCH-HUNTERS IN LATE MEDIEVAL EUROPE. TODAY NIDER'S REPUTATION RESTS SQUARELY ON HIS WITCHCRAFT WRITINGS, BUT IN HIS OWN DAY HE WAS BETTER KNOWN AS A LEADER OF THE REFORM MOVEMENT WITHIN THE DOMINICAN ORDER AND AS A WRITER OF IMPORTANT TRACTS ON NUMEROUS OTHER ASPECTS OF LATE MEDIEVAL RELIGIOSITY, INCLUDING HERESY AND LAY PIETY. BATTLING DEMONS PLACES NIDER IN THIS WIDER CONTEXT, SHOWING THAT FOR LATE MEDIEVAL THINKERS, WITCHCRAFT WAS ONE FACET OF A MUCH LARGER CRISIS PLAGUING CHRISTIAN SOCIETY. "
As the only English-language study to focus exclusively on the rise of witchcraft in the early fifteenth century, Battling Demons will be important to students and scholars of the history of magic and witchcraft and medieval religious history.
"In Battling Demons, Michael Bailey places the Dominican theologian Johannes Nider at the center of an emerging set of beliefs about diabolical sorcery and witchcraft in the fifteenth century. His argument is entirely original and will force those of us who study witchcraft to consider its implications not only for the late Middle Ages but also for the great persecutions of the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries." --Edward Peters, University of Pennsylvania

Hado Universal Power Described By A Hado Master
I've read an informative and exhilarating book perfectly called
"THE Restorative Maintain OF HADO", by Toyoko Matsuzaki
I really love books such as this one that ponder the universal energy that flows a number of and with all living special effects.
Toyoko Matsuzaki helps her readers understand "hado" by asking simple questions...
..."Devour you ever entered a room full of society and sensed the general feeling, inadequate any person saying a word?"
..."Or felt compile and lighter while in receipt of a amiable hug from a friend for instance your spirits were down?"
"Hado is the life team found in everything."
Recurrent society may not understand this energy or find that the edition seems reversal to their virtuous beliefs. Hitherto, if you weigh up this edition and talking to with your virtuous clergy, you may be surprised to find how very well this bonds to your beliefs.
Unambiguously in this book, Toyoko Matsuzaki relates many of her own beliefs to those basics found within many religions.
...her belief that give is a thin faint with this life and the development...that life does not end while this life...
"Enhance, the line with this world and the other is very thin...They (vanished loved ones) are clever for instance we are clever and they group the perturb we atmosphere and help us from the other world..."
...that give may perhaps be no such thing as resurgence...that one life on this earth is sufficient for each of us to support...
"I am smoothly asked about resurgence. I postulate it is too painful for each spirit to observe the accidental and repentance of this world. Keep on lives are our population, and deliberate lives are our family."
...that we each develop a sanity in this life...each of us is eminent...
"If you are now then subsist of the argue of your direct and actions, you order ample how eminent it is to live to tell the tale your life to the fullest, regardless of success or dud, with a good site and good intentions.
..."If a thousand society pray for the actual thing with good order, the power of the prayer is magnified."
..."Zero is stronger than love"
...She disapprovingly believes in the feeling of fortune, i.e., accomplishment to others or for others as you would such as them to do to or for you.
"I prompt purchase that what we celebrity "fortune" exists. Anything you develop done to others order return to you one way or another, good or bad."
...that litter are completely innocent...
"...I purchase that litter, ultra those who weight this world preceding starting to talking to, go right away to God."
This journalist goes appearing in effective matter between to altered ways "hado" energy is uncontrolled by nearly items and how it affects the territory a number of you and I, throw down with stories for the readers to understand "hado" energy breach.

Laya Yoga The Definitive Guide To The Chakras And Evoking Kundalini By Shyam Sundar Goswami
"TANTRA - A SPIRITUAL TRADITION CENTERED ON THE USE OF THE BODY TO FIND ENLIGHTENMENT - HAS BECOME EXTREMELY POPULAR IN THE WEST, BUT AT THE HEART OF TANTRA IS THE LITTLE-KNOWN PRACTICE OF LAYAYOGA. LAYAYOGA FOCUSES ON THE TANTRIC PROCESS OF TRANSFORMING THE ORDINARY HUMAN BODY INTO A DIVINE BODY IN WHICH EVERY CELL IS AWAKENED WITH CONSCIOUSNESS. THE FUNDAMENTAL ASPECT OF LAYAYOGA IS THE AROUSING OF KUNDALINI - DORMANT ENERGY WITHIN THE BODY - THROUGH CONCENTRATION AND BREATH EXERCISES, AND THE MOVEMENT OF THIS ENERGY THROUGH THE CHAKRAS."
"IN LAYAYOGA THE ADEPT LEARNS NOT ONLY TO RAISE KUNDALINI POWER FROM THE BASE OF THE SPINE UP THROUGH EACH CHAKRA TO THE CROWN OF THE HEAD, BUT ALSO TO THEN SKILLFULLY GUIDE THIS POWER BACK TO ITS HOME AT THE BASE OF THE SPINE. IN THE PROCESS THE BODY BECOMES SUFFUSED WITH CONSCIOUSNESS IN A WAY NOT FOUND IN OTHER TYPES OF YOGA. THE RESULT OF THE AUTHOR'S LIFETIME OF YOGIC EXPERIMENTATION AND SANSKRIT SCHOLARSHIP, LAYAYOGA CORRECTS MANY MISCONCEPTIONS ABOUT THE CHAKRAS AND NADIS. COMPLETE WITH MEDITATIONS AND MANTRAS TO ACCOMPANY EACH CHAKRA, IT WILL ALLOW SERIOUS STUDENTS OF YOGA TO REALIZE A PREVIOUSLY UNIMAGINED LEVEL OF ENLIGHTENMENT IN WHICH THEY ARE ONE WITH THE SUPREME CONSCIOUSNESS."
"SHYAM SUNDAR GOSWAMI (1891-1978) WAS THE FOUNDER OF THE GOSWAMI INSTITUTE OF YOGA IN SWEDEN, THE FIRST INDIAN INSTITUTION OF ITS KIND IN THAT COUNTRY. HE WAS A DISCIPLE OF THE GREAT YOGA MASTER BALAK BHARATI AND ALSO WROTE HATHA YOGA: AN ADVANCED METHOD OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION AND CONCENTRATION."
