Wicca is a modern pagan, witchcraft religion

Wicca is a diverse religion with no central authority or figure defining it.

Wicca often involves the ritual practice of magic, though it is not always necessary

Pentacle, worn as a pendant, depicts a pentagram, or five-pointed star, used as a symbol of Wicca by many adherents.

Beliefs in Wicca range from hard polytheism to even monotheism.

Wicca is typically duotheistic, worshipping a god and goddess traditionally viewed as a mother goddess and horned god.

The term Wicca first achieved widespread acceptance when referring to the religion in the 1960s and 70s

Application of the word Wicca has given rise to "a great deal of disagreement and infighting".

The Goddess and the God may be regarded as the Divine Feminine and the Divine Masculine

The God and Goddess are generally seen as lovers and equals, the Divine Couple who together co-create the cosmos.

Traditionally the God is viewed as a Horned God, associated with nature, wilderness, sexuality, hunting and the life cycle

The Horned God is given various names according to the tradition, and these include Cernunnos, Pan, Atho and Karnayna.

The Goddess is usually portrayed as a Triple Goddess, thereby being a triadic deity comprising a Maiden goddess, a Mother goddess, and a Crone goddess

Some Wiccans, particularly from the 1970s onwards, have viewed the Goddess as the more important of the two deities, who is pre-eminent in that she contains and conceives all. In this respect, the God is viewed as the spark of life and inspiration within her, simultaneously her lover and her child.

Wednesday In The Word Grace

Wednesday In The Word Grace
This is a group of a dedication on my blog, ByGrace. I wrote it strangely as a report of liberator, but today I just pleasing to hand out it to gloat in the grace of God, one of my ideal Bible themes!

This beforehand weekend, my partner whisked me mumbled comment to Seattle for a minuscule fracture together. We visited Depend on Baptist Church in Tacoma on Sunday dawn. All weekend I had prayed that the Lord would bless me with a spoken communication just for me on Sunday dawn. On every occasion Cleric Smith began preaching, I was amazed: he was preaching on one of my ideal topics and his clone was one of my ideal Bible stories - Mephibosheth in II Samuel 9. Mephibosheth was the grandson of Sovereign Saul of Israel. Scores of existence inside the period of Sovereign David, David pleasing to find out if any of the native land of Saul was departed. He found a servant named Ziba, of the assembly of Saul, who told him that the son of Jonathan was muted pulsating, living in the metropolis of Lo-debar. The bad thing was, Mephibosheth was lame. So David sent down to Lo-debar and had Mephibosheth brought to Jerusalem, everyplace David congealed him in the palace and official him to eat at the king's set up for the rest of his life.

The set of circumstances I love this story is while Mephibosheth is a picture of me. I was "lame in my feet" - sin had crippled me. I wasn't skillful to get to "Jerusalem" from Lo-debar, and I wasn't commendable to eat at the King's set up. But the Sovereign sent a "servant" - the Pious Existence - to come and let me know that the Sovereign popular my presence at His set up. I was faulty and very easily hurt of my lameness; I knew I didn't value a place at the King's set up. But that Servant just wouldn't give up! He continually let me know that put on was a place for me at the set up, and that the Sovereign really did penury me put on. Yes, I was lame, but the Sovereign knew that and was muted impulsive for me to sit at His set up. I last but not least decided I was goodbye to control this Sovereign, and official the Servant to arrange me to the Sovereign, everyplace He gave me a seat at the set up. I looked down to my feet, muted faulty that I was lame, but I couldn't see them! They were under the set up, covered! No one at the set up may well see my feet. We all looked the self-same at the King's table!

The truth is, we're all "lame." Sin has crippled all mankind, and we can't eat at the King's set up until He covers our sin and makes us commendable to sit at His set up. And He loves us and requests our presence so future that He came and existing Himself for our sins, so that they state be bathed by His blood. And He sends His Servant to talk into us that, even even though we don't value it, we can eat at the King's set up. In the right position while we bring into being this crust, we're muted lame, but the King's set up covers our crippled feet.

Exercise you calculated that everyone at the King's set up looked the self-same when they were seated? Mephibosheth didn't crooked lame when he was seated at the set up. In the same way, we are all equal at God's table! We may confine unknown backgrounds, unknown abilities, but God sees us all the self-same - forgiven, with our crippled feet under the set up. Such as a blessing that God's grace covers our sins and makes us equal at His table!

God muted offers His grace for living even while we are saved! Sovereign David right and proper servants to shelve Mephibosheth's land and he promised to attention for Mephibosheth for the rest of his life. God does the self-same for us, bighearted us grace to cabin our lives listed the power of the Pious Existence. We're muted lame; we muted sin and make mistakes, but we're never dismissed from the King's table!

Such as a directly to sit at the King's set up, degrading and lame even though we are. Won't you blockade me at the King's table? I'll be the lame one.
